What Is Included in the Assorted Pack?
Choose a pack size of 6, 12 or 24 GU Original Energy Gel packets. Each packet contains 32g of gel and provides one serving.
The assortment is selected from Racepack's available GU Original Energy Gel flavour pool. Unless the live product listing specifically guarantees a fixed combination, the exact flavours and the number of each flavour may vary.
This listing should therefore be treated as a mixed-profile assortment. One caffeine, sodium or carbohydrate figure does not accurately describe every packet in the pack.
GU Original Energy Gel Flavour Profiles
The table below shows the nutritional profiles across the GU Original Energy Gel family. It is provided as a reference to help you understand possible flavour differences and does not guarantee that every listed flavour will appear in your assortment.
| Profile | GU Original Flavours |
|---|---|
| Non-caffeinated | Birthday Cake, Campfire S'mores, Lemon Sublime, Raspberry Lemonade and Strawberry Banana |
| 20mg caffeine | Chocolate Outrage, Mandarin Orange, Salted Caramel, Salted Watermelon, Tri-Berry and Vanilla Bean |
| 40mg caffeine | Caramel Macchiato, Cola Me Happy, Espresso Love and Jet Blackberry |
| 125mg sodium | Salted Caramel and Salted Watermelon |
| 60mg sodium | The other GU Original flavours covered in the Racepack family |
Espresso Love and Vanilla Bean may be included in relevant GU Original Energy Gel assortments where stocked. They remain part of Racepack's flavour range but do not have separate standalone Racepack flavour pages.
Why Choose an Assorted GU Energy Gel Pack?
The assorted format is designed for customers who want several GU Original flavour options rather than a full pack of one flavour.
It can be useful for trying different flavours, rotating tastes across training sessions or carrying a combination of caffeinated and non-caffeinated options where those flavours are included in the assortment.
If you want one specific flavour rather than a mixed pack, choose the standard GU Original Energy Gel listing or the dedicated 24 Pack instead.
How to Use GU Original Energy Gel
GU recommends taking an Energy Gel shortly before activity with a few sips of water. For exercise lasting longer than one hour, GU recommends approximately one Energy Gel every 20–30 minutes while continuing to hydrate.
Individual carbohydrate, fluid, sodium and caffeine needs are influenced by exercise duration, intensity, environmental conditions and personal tolerance. Check the caffeine level of the specific flavour before use and practise your fuelling strategy during training before race day.

Ingredients
Ingredients vary between GU Original Energy Gel flavours, so there is no single ingredient declaration that accurately represents every possible packet in this assortment.
Across the GU Original family, maltodextrin and fructose are the main carbohydrate sources. Flavour-specific formulas differ in ingredients such as natural flavours, acids, cocoa ingredients, colours, sodium levels and caffeine-containing green tea leaf extract.
For exact ingredient information, check the ingredient declaration printed on each included packet or refer to the corresponding Racepack flavour page where available.
