aminoVITAL Guts Gear | Sports Energy for Kids & Students

aminoVITAL Guts Gear is a 250g sports energy jelly drink from Ajinomoto, developed for kids and students who need convenient energy around sports, training and active days.

Each pouch provides 200 kcal together with approximately 49–50g carbohydrate, 1,500mg amino acids, 130mg calcium and 1,300mg citric acid.

Racepack offers the official Cider and Lemon Squash flavours, together with an Assorted option containing a mix of the two.

Why Choose aminoVITAL Guts Gear?

Guts Gear is designed for active kids and students who need a practical source of energy around sports and training. Unlike a small concentrated amino-acid sachet, each Guts Gear pouch is a large 250g jelly drink providing meaningful carbohydrate energy together with selected amino acids, calcium and citric acid.

• 200 kcal per pouch: provides a substantial energy serving for sport, training and active days.
• 49–50g carbohydrate: carbohydrate provides the main nutritional energy in each pouch.
• 1,500mg amino acids: supplied as 1,350mg alanine plus 150mg proline.
• 130mg calcium: included alongside the carbohydrate and amino-acid formula.
• 1,300mg citric acid: declared in both the Cider and Lemon Squash formulations.
• Ready-to-consume 250g jelly drink: no mixing, shaker or preparation is required.

Who Is aminoVITAL Guts Gear For?

Ajinomoto developed the Guts Gear range for young people participating in sports. The Cider and Lemon Squash versions are also positioned toward older students and active young people.

It can fit into sports and training routines when a child, teenager or student wants a convenient source of carbohydrate energy in an easy-to-consume jelly format.

Individual nutrition requirements vary, particularly for children and teenagers. Use the product according to the directions on the packaging supplied and as part of an appropriate overall diet and sports nutrition routine.

How Guts Gear Is Formulated

Carbohydrate Energy

Guts Gear is primarily an energy jelly drink. Each pouch provides 200 kcal and approximately 49–50g carbohydrate.

The exact carbohydrate content differs slightly by flavour:

• Cider: 50g carbohydrate per 250g pouch
• Lemon Squash: 49g carbohydrate per 250g pouch

This makes Guts Gear fundamentally different from low-carbohydrate amino-acid supplements such as aminoVITAL PRO or GOLD.

1,500mg Alanine + Proline

Each pouch contains 1,500mg total amino acids:

• Alanine: 1,350mg
• Proline: 150mg

These are the same two amino acids used elsewhere in aminoVITAL's carbohydrate-oriented energy range, although the quantity and overall nutritional formulation differ between products.

130mg Calcium

Each Cider and Lemon Squash pouch provides 130mg calcium.

1,300mg Citric Acid

Both stocked flavours also provide 1,300mg citric acid per pouch.

When to Use aminoVITAL Guts Gear

Guts Gear is designed to fit around sports, training, club activities and other physically active periods when convenient energy is useful.

Because each 250g pouch provides approximately 50g carbohydrate and 200 kcal, it should be treated as a meaningful energy serving rather than simply as an amino-acid supplement.

The most suitable timing depends on the athlete's age, activity, overall diet, training duration and individual energy needs.

Flavours Available at Racepack

Cider

Cider is an official Ajinomoto Guts Gear flavour.

Each 250g Cider pouch provides:

• 200 kcal
• 50g carbohydrate
• 1,500mg amino acids
• 130mg calcium
• 1,300mg citric acid

Lemon Squash

Lemon Squash is the official Ajinomoto flavour name and should be used in the Shopify variant selector rather than shortening the flavour to simply "Lemon".

Each 250g Lemon Squash pouch provides:

• 200 kcal
• 49g carbohydrate
• 1,500mg amino acids
• 130mg calcium
• 1,300mg citric acid

Assorted

The Assorted option is a Racepack-curated combination of the stocked Cider and Lemon Squash flavours.

Assorted is not a separate Ajinomoto flavour or formulation. Because the two included flavours differ slightly in carbohydrate, salt equivalent and ingredients, the Assorted option should not be represented as having one separate universal nutritional profile.

Unless a fixed flavour split is specifically stated in the product selector, the exact number of Cider and Lemon Squash pouches inside an Assorted pack is not guaranteed.
