How to Use the Bundle
There is no single fixed order you must follow. Use the bundle according to your pace, expected finish time, how much fuel you normally tolerate, and what you have already tested in training. You do not need to consume every item in one race.
Before the Race
SiS HYDRO+ can be mixed with 500ml water before the start if you want electrolyte support without extra carbohydrate.
Skratch Energy Bar can be used as an optional pre-race solid fuel if you prefer food rather than another gel before running.
Main Fuel During the Race
2 x SiS GO Isotonic Energy Gels provide your main portable carbohydrate fuel. Each gel supplies 22g carbohydrate and is designed to be taken without extra water, which is one of the key reasons runners use SiS for half-marathon fuelling.
Longer / Harder Effort
SiS BETA Fuel + Nootropics is the step-up option in the bundle. It provides 40g dual-source carbohydrate, 200mg caffeine, 250mg citicoline, 1g L-taurine and 200mg L-theanine. This makes it useful when you want a higher-carbohydrate option and a stronger mental lift later in a harder session or race.
Important: because this gel contains 200mg caffeine, keep total caffeine intake in mind. Science in Sport advises a maximum of one BETA Fuel + Nootropics gel per day.
Hydration
Skratch Labs Lemon + Lime Hydration Sport Drink Mix can be mixed with approximately 350–500ml water. It provides 19g carbohydrate and 400mg sodium, making it a practical drink-based hydration option before or during a session.
